At The Longholme we know that our team are crucial to the success of our café. Although we’re only a small operation we have exacting standards and like to make sure the customers are being looked after. We have 2 sides to our team, to see how you might fit in take a look below at the different roles. Our casual team are the oil in our engine, helping us at the busiest of times and really get the café in full swing. As a casual staff member, you have the flexibility to work on a part time basis, mostly at the weekends to suit your studies or other commitments. Generally, this role covers 1-3 days a week in high season. If you’re a local student keen to learn more about the industry, this is the perfect role for you!
As a permanent staff member, you will be working in a full-time capacity with the ‘core team’ & the owners. Usually working 5/7 days you may be expected to work in all areas of the business. Our permanent staff work with us closely to improve our service, brainstorm our events ideas and generally make The Longholme a better place to be for everyone, these people are the hospitality managers of the future.
