Our casual team are the oil in our engine, helping us at the busiest of times and really get the café in full swing. As a casual staff member, you have the flexibility to work on a part time or full time basis, to suit your studies or other commitments. Generally, this role covers 1-3 days a week in high season. If you’re a local student keen to learn more about the industry, this is the perfect role for you! Please read the whole section before making your application.
- These position are seasonal contract offer only. This means it's a fixed term employment and it will end.
- You need to be available to work every week on a regular basis on either Saturday or Sunday through the contract dates. We ask for full weekend availability. If you have other regular weekend activities, this job will not be suitable.
- No experience required, just a can do positive attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in food and beverage.

Boat Hire Assistant 2026
This position requires a person who has the physical ability to stabilise a boat, with people in it. Candidates also need to be able to row boats, and feel confident on the water in a boat. This role is a safety focused , candidates will be responsible for overseeing the boat hire, this includes cleaning boats, helping load and un load customers and assist with other general cafe duties too and more. All training will be provided. No prior experience required. Fixed term contract 2026. Ages 17+ only.
